Our Descriptions of MACC

Below are our group descriptions of different places at MACC.

Can you guess where we are describing? Which piece of writing do you think was most effective in using the language features (simile, metaphor, personification)? Do you have any ideas or suggestions that could be added to another groups description?

Teagan and Emily
The twisty and twirly staircase rises like an illusion leading up to where time moves faster. The Beast has been chained to the ill-hair on the ground.
The entrance of the Beast is shut tight with a wicked spell only broken by the strongest of weapons.
The light glimmering at the head of the Creature. The bottom of the Beast is like a dark never ending hole. The stairs are slowly being swallowed as if by enchantment and will soon vanish. The view is as if looking through the eyes of a Giraffe.

Kutenda, Olivia S, Liam and Paolo
For there's a  place of emerald grass peppered with minuscule black dots in between the blades of grass. Towering poles stood like soldiers in salute proudly holding up their flag. With a midnight black fence separating the wild from the tamed. While clusters of trees whispered in the breeze. The gravel road was a feral  mass of rocks.

Daniel and Skyelar
As I walk over this is what I see.The lawn is a green carpet. The net is sceaming to be fixed. The trees wave to you as walk by. The nets traps kids as they walk in. As you look out you see a tower going high in the sky. The wind kisses you when standing in the net. the kids come to play and have fun. If you come near you get cut.

Isabelle and Chloe
As I walked along a path I saw seats as silver and sparkly as a ring on a married women's finger, I decided not to worry and kept on walking, suddenly I smelt something that smelt like heven. I looked away to my right and I saw a sliding door that looked just like a ruby, behind the door that was ruby coloured I thought I could hear someone shivering, there was a small black Handel close to the bottom of the ridged ruby door that looked like it had been rolled up and down everyday.
I reached out and grasped the Handel to lift the sliding door, I couldn't wait to find out who it was shivering?
I saw a lot of busy people preparing at the back and the front of the room, but I still couldn't see the person shivering.
Soon after I found out that it wasn't a person shivering but a small red and white freezer, I pulled my head out of the sliding door to find kids big and small pushing like cats and dogs fighting to get to the front.
I walked away slowly wondering where I was?

Ian, Logan and Lachlan P
I enter early in the morning through a gate that is like a black leapod. Right on the left, is a patch of  grass, glistening green. Next to the grass is a grey court where a ball is a kangaroo hopping into a hoop. There is also a leapod trying to score a try. On my right is black court that has  kingdigarden scribbles. The birds are greeting us as we enter the school. Next to the grass is a building that is as big as a fractory. The roof is a table top. The concrete ground is like a raggered ground, trying to trip us all. I look in frount of me, where a bulldozer is a dog, digging a hole for his bones. Where am I?

Jeremy, Max and Georgia
As I walked inside a giant rises from the ground, as I look around there is about a billion lines spiralling left to right like spaghetti. When I look above there are hoops floating. The room has a divider dangling from the roof like a fish on a rod. When I look around the hall has windows as clear as a crystal. The view is as beautiful like heaven. In the hall lots of fun equiptment is always in handy, and there are bouncy balls, hopping from place to place.

Jess L and Maddie
One day Joey woke up in a strange place. He could smell undigisted animal food. The grass he was laying on was very dirty and most of it was either a very dull green or just dead. Joey deceided that he would get up and have a look around. As he was walking he notice the sheds seemed to be screaming for a new coat of paint. They sheds sat next to each other like wasps nests. The sheep starred at Joey plain as toad. As walked further along he saw a veggie garden. It smelt like lavender. Fresh, clean lavender, Joey thought. As he was walking away from this strange place the texture of the ground seemed to change. It had gone dead grass to rocky roads and the smell had changed from cow meanu to the dusty dirt on the road. As kept on walking he seemed to pass a house or a cottage that was old and ragged. When he looks to his left he sees to long white buildings. The roof tops are as sharp as a knife. Joeys thinks to him self to keep walking. He sees children playing some kind of game with a small ball and there hitting it with there hand. He sees a door open and bolts in because he sees a tall man that looks very scary. When he walks every spot of space he finds is covered with something. Joey was amazed to the point of speechlessness. The wet sculpture looked beautiful yet as plain as toad. Joey then hits his on the corner of a tall table and crashes back to sleep.

Elijah and Kai
The shades are like a roof. as the wind blows, the sails wip violently up and down. Announcements made every day. The floor is as hard as rocks. Rubbish is dropped at 10 and 12 o'clock. At least twice a year it rains cats and dogs. As children kick the poles the soldiers tell them to stop. Children stomping their way down to the old wooden planks. With every step they take, it makes the floor Screech.

Emma, Caitlin, Joel, Owen and Dorothy
Humongous and round. There's a place where you walk down a hillside with bits of rocks and dirt that fills the air with dust, it is  surrounded by giraffe like trees. There is a mouldy green rectangle in the middle. At the far end stood a towering solider with two hands. You could hear the steady burble of tick, tock ...
On the hill the rabbits dig holes and leave thousands of pea sized droppings.
On the grass floor next to the hill is like a very spaced out circle with two NFL posts on both sides of the field. Many people play soccer on it.There is no place here to run from the lava like sun.
Years past, and seasons showered the fields. Winter, the unfavourite for some, and spring that encouraged the grasses growth. There are bits that are really muddy and there's bits that are really dry. It seems like this place is enclosed by a hill, sometimes it feels like it never ends.

Lachlan R and Nimesh
She was running down the caremal steps as quick as a cheeta to get to church. She was praying to the diamond by singing a song. Maddison was singing her heart out for the maker of heaven and earth. She was surrounded by the holy Christ. The  movement of her body was like an elephant. While singing the song she prayed inside her heart for a brighter future for the real people of the world. She looked around and had the face of a chimpanzee.

Liz, Natalia, Isaac, Noah and Daniel N
In this place there is a stage like a grassy bush and where the clicking of pens is banned.
Look out the window, what do you see? I see a tree, lots of them really, if you look at the back
It has one big meringue puff light hanging from the white wall, right next to the light there are two yellow walls as bright as the sun at the front of the room there are two white cupboards that are just standing all day long.

Bri and Abbey
As the bell rings kids run down my faded old green complexion, bouncing from one tree to another as if ping pong balls. Others like to walk down me and ruffle my feathers. As they sit down on the mint coloured benches the bench digs into me even further.

Rahul, Mikayla, Micah, Jordan
As quiet as a mouse computers working as fast as lightning, surrounded in pages, learning and stories. With ground as soft as a pillow, with walls that are the colour of dust. Surrounded by things to discover. In the next room, there is a office with a known maths teacher that works in there. There are tables that are higher than a middle aged Gum tree, and stools with an even number on them. Books spilling out secrets of the charcters before them.

Nilana and Olivia E
The sun smiles down at the concrete where little games are drawn. There is grass as green as an emerald, enclosed by a metal fence as pointy as a knife surrounding the classrooms on the old wooden veranda screaming to get some attention. On the roofs are edges as sharp as scissors. Shades cover the area protecting children from the golden rays. In the boundary of this area is student admin covered in white demanding to be repainted.

Tiarhn, Jacob, Anthony and Katelyn
There is a place where the trees are dancing and rubber gets down your shoe as quick as chocolate down your throat. Six soldiers stand straight providing shade and the grass is as green as the finest green apple. In this place utes roar around on the messy gravel road. The stinky bins smell like your oldest brothers room. The shade protects the students from the harsh sun.The stairs are free ambulance tickets and doctor prescriptions.

Jeremiah and Josh
This is a small place with two windows high up.Its a terrible place that smells like manure. You walk in to see two small windows with two white taps hovering under them.If some one enters you would want to leave faster than the speed of light. To the left of the room is a really light gray wall.Connecting to the wall is a wall on it there is a door. Its also the best place to do your "business".Its smell will make your nose cry for hours on end.you walk through the door to see two stalls in one stall there is a toilet and in the other stall there is another toilet. If a woman enters she will be forced out imediently.
