Week 4
Whole Number and Addition

This week we are in the Reteach and Enrich phase of Mathematics for Whole Number and Addition. These means that you could complete any of the Week Two or Week Three homework activities again to help you improve your skills in these areas. Focus on the areas that you most needed to improve in.

For something new you could also try:

Ordering Numbers (including negative numbers)

Mystery Numbers (Place Value) - Drag the numbers down onto the platforms to create the correct number.

Pirate (Rounding numbers)

Roman Numerals Hangman

Memory (addition)

Basketball Addition - try the different levels!

*Please note some of these games require Java or Flash - this means that they will not load on an Iphone or Ipad. If you find this to be the case try using a desktop computer or laptop - if this option isn't possible then do the activities that don't require Java/Flash to play.

Week 7
This week we are looking at Measurement - Length + Perimeter.

Sorry for the confusion. To access the 'Build a Shed Game' game, select Maths, then measuring, then length and distance.

Perimeter Explorer - work out the Perimeter and compare it to its area - what do you notice? Select 'Draw new shape' to display the next question.

Throwing Challenge - Select a level and whether you want to throw or estimate.

Week  8
This week we only have 3 days of Mathematics before we head to Canberra.

Based on your score in the mid fortnight formative assessment practice the games from Week Seven that are most relevant to improving your learning this week. Conversions in particular were an issue across all groups.
